Restricting myself to “simple and elegant” has a meditative quality. Attempting to contrive a minimalist piece challenges my natural complex exuberance. But once I walk through the noise, I nest in a calm core. Settled in the silence, I can see and accept the quiet qualities of my materials.
These pieces are more than souvenirs from that moment. They are billboards beckoning you to visit that inner peace.
