Wood, Screws and Mylar
Reflection and contrast are central themes of the piece. Echo is inspired by the reflecting pond, common materials and science. Using the language of a garden lattice, Echo draws the scattered paths of a proton’s long journey through the sun. The matte, neutral face, politely compliments the serenity of the garden. The color is a counter to the exuberance of it's lines. The back is a highly reflective silver. Seen in the mirrored doors, the repeating nature of the piece is revealed.
